Q & A and General Info
Spring and Fall meetings are now on Wednesdays!
2024 Spring meeting will be April 24th by Zoom and Fall meeting will be September 11th in person. The Fall meeting will not have Zoom as an option. We are sorry.
Do you need to apply for State Employee Charitable Giving Campaign (SECGC)?
YES! As of 2024 you will need to apply for SECGC on your own.
Bill recorded the Zoom we did showing how to submit your application. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/Q2pj_D-
Do you need to apply for SECGC Kickoff at the Rotunda?
Yes! There is a $25 fee and you need to apply for your group. They are going to do a Rotunda Kickoff on September 26th. That registration will open after they have approved registrations. Please scroll to the bottom of the page to sign up for the event on or after July 1st.

You could help at the MT Shares table if you don’t want your own table. It is worth points.
Why do we have the meeting at the same place?
We have the meeting at the church because it’s free, it has a kitchen we can use and the space is big enough. It’s too hard to keep moving around to different spots. Having a kitchen we know and are able to use helps us to be able to serve the food that we do.
Why don’t we have meetings earlier in the day or earlier spring and later in the fall?
We cannot do an 8 am meeting because we have members that travel from Great Falls, Bozeman, Missoula etc. and that would just be to early for them. Also, we have it in Helena because it is more centrally located and it makes it easier for our staff to haul things needed for meetings.
Having the meeting before April or later in September is really hard for us because of the campaigns finishing up or starting and applications due for new members to get registered etc.
