Big Brothers Big Sisters of Montana is composed of all nine Montana Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies. These agencies serve 72% of our state’s population by providing services to children in Gallatin County, Butte, Flathead County, Great Falls, Lake County/Flathead Reservation, Missoula, Helena, Park County, Sweet Grass County, Yellowstone County and their surrounding areas. The role of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Montana is to support Montana Big Brother Big Sister agencies by increasing program awareness, creating statewide partnerships and developing funding sources. Big Brother Big Sister agencies themselves have provided positive professionally supported relationships to children in Montana for over 42 years. The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to provide all youth with positive mentoring relationships thorough a high-quality, one-to-one, volunteer program designed to help them become productive, self-reliant adults. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring program are effective through reliance on trained, educated and professional staff members, carefully screened and oriented volunteers, ongoing match support and supervision and uniform case management standards and procedures.
